Introduction

My name is Annie Sam. I am a 27 year old graduate from California State University, Long Beach with a Degree in Finance and International Business.

In my 2006 rookie season, I competed in the National Auto Sport Association's SE-R Cup series, winning a 3rd place podium finish. Although my passion will always lie in wheel to wheel racing, this year, my main focus is instructing beginner students, time trial events, and the Bonneville Salt Falts events through the Utah Salt Flats Racing Association (USFRA) and the Southern California Timing Association (SCTA).

I am an advocate against street racing, and am always proactive towards moving people off the streets and onto the track – where the real talent and competition lies. Aside from competition racing, I am a licensed NASA driving instructor, teaching beginner drivers the concepts of road course driving and hot lapping.

I'm continously updating this website with racing articles, pictures from events that I participate in and cool new features. So check back here often and if you get the chance, stop by my myspace page www.myspace.com/gripgirl and drop me a note if you have any questions about racing, car set up, or just to say hello!

Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy.

- Annie
